Our Safari Parties are exclusively designed and operated by Linda Kaye’s Partymakers. We are not affiliated with the Wildlife Conservation Society or the Central Park Zoo
The fun begins in the beautiful sunlit terrace room of the Serafina Restaurant—a space reserved exclusively for your party—located at 61st Street and Madison Avenue.
Party guests are greeted by Professor Doolittle and an assistant Safari leader. The children are then introduced to the animals they will meet on their safari trip through the zoo in search of the birthday treasure, a birthday crown. After creating a giant birthday banner, singing songs, and learning with animal puppets the children set off for their safari adventure...
But no explorer should ever go on an empty tummy! Children enjoy delicious pizza prepared in a wood-burning oven while adults relax nearby with a party of their own complete with 
bellinis, mimosas or morning espressos paired with an assortment of delicious finger foods. Top off the pizza with the birthday cake and ice cream and the children are ready for their adventure through the zoo. Professor Doolittle and the birthday child lead the safari group up 61st Street. After a 4-minute walk, they enter Central Park at 61st and 5th. Guests then proceed to the zoo entrance, where their adventure begins…
The children visit the snow monkeys, sea lions, polar bears, penguins, and snow leopards. Throughout their journey, children learn about the animals in a fun and entertaining way, as they search for the birthday crown. Finally it’s cheers all around when everyone finds the birthday crown and celebrates the crowning of the birthday child!
Afterward, party guests and accompanying adults are free to explore the Children’s Zoo at their leisure.
Parties will take place rain or shine! If it’s lovely weather for ducklings, the children will waddle to the Zoo under the cover of our signature duck umbrellas!
Parties are available Saturday and Sunday, 11a-1p or Monday through Friday after 3pm.

Parties held at Serafina must meet a $600 food minimum
