When you wish upon a star as a 5 year old, our recent Disney Princess-themed party is what you imagine. Our birthday girl was a major Disney fan, so we wanted to make sure everything was fit for a princess.

The American Museum of Natural History would be the backdrop for this magical party. Guests were greeted by a balloon sculpture of pearlized pink and fuchsia balloons fashioned into the royal gates of Princess Jacqueline Lee’s kingdom.

And of course, all of the birthday girl’s favorite princesses made time in their busy royal schedules to attend the most important birthday party in all the kingdoms. Our princesses met with their subjects, posed for memorable selfies, and lead all the guests in a royal Disney Dance Party! Sleeping Beauty’s Aurora, Cinderella, Beauty and Beast’s Belle, and of course, the mermaid of the hour, Ariel.

Ariel entertained all her friends with her specialty balloon animals (and mermaids) before embarking on a great adventure into the Underwater world of the museum. The guests were sent on a magical birthday scavenger hunt for “gadgets and gizmos, a-plenty…”.

Upon returning from their great treasure hunt, our royal subjects were eager to snack on their lunch of chicken nuggets and french fries—Princess Jacqueline Lee’s royal lunch of choice.

After a rousing chorus of “Happy Birthday” to our Princess, she blew out her candles on her extravagant 3-tiered castle cake—custom designed for royalty. It was truly a birthday party of dreams, all thanks to her Fairy Godmother, Linda Kaye’s Partymakers.
