In the spirit of awards season, it seemed fitting to do a party in full Hollywood style. Our fashionable client was turning 8 and wanted a birthday fit for a superstar.
Guests arrived for their exclusive Hollywood premiere in style. Greeted by a red carpet, each guest chose from an array of chic Hollywood sunglasses to shield their eyes from the flashes of the upcoming paparazzi. After walking the red carpet and having the paparazzi snap their pictures, guests arrived at their one-of-a-kind Hollywood premiere.
The décor of the room featured gold, white, and black balloons, black and gold plates embellished with star power, Hollywood-themed mylars, and a personalized banner to highlight the birthday child. Guests dined on catered mac and cheese, French fries, grilled cheese, and much more.
The talk of every red carpet is always fashion, fashion, fashion! Guests dressed to the nines and we wanted to make sure their outfits were so much more than just an “Instagram-mable” moment. A fashion illustrator was on hand to digitally sketch each child’s outfit and send them home with original fashion sketches to cherish forever.
A variety of craft stations were set up to entertain boys and girls alike. Whether they wanted to design their name on their very own Walk of Fame star or color a custom Hollywood cookie with edible ink, guests definitely tapped into their creative sides.
For the exclusive premiere, guests were seated for a showing of Steamboat Willy, Walt Disney’s 1928 very first Mickey Mouse movie, while they munched on their freshly popped popcorn.
Right after the film, the after party was ready to begin. Stars let their hair down, kicked their shoes off, danced up a storm and sang their favorite Taylor Swift hits on karaoke.
No birthday party is complete without a show-stopping cake. Our world-class cake artist created a personalized cake, complete with a red carpet, the Hollwood sign, and sugared popcorn to complete the cake of a lifetime.
As a thank you present, the birthday girl presented each of her guests with their very own Oscar—cookies! The stars agreed it was sweeter than winning the coveted award itself. It was a party to remember and was definitely a box-office hit!
